Is already the 5th lesson of this psy 110, the title for this lesson - Exploring my Aptitudes and Skills. Is basically in searching what skills I had in myself and aptitudes which mean the ability of me to learn quickly. So, what skills I had in myself to be proud of ? not much of achievement to prove of in the past 20 years of my life. Setting goals never happen in my life until today but after this lesson, it might have change my thought. I should start to learn to set goals in my life and achieve it. I might not be the best but at least there is goals to chase on in my life.
What is so special of this lesson that had change my thought ? John Goddard, the world's greatest goals achiever. At the age of 15, with 127 that kind of goals, anyone on this earth will definitely get impress and thought of doing something in their life. He is definitely my new idol and Steven Gerard and David Beckham will be past tense now. What is on my mind now is the differences between goals and dreams. Are both of them the same thing? At the age of 15, how many teenage at that age would have wanted to climb Mt. Everest ? It seen so far, is more like a dream than a goal and yet John Goddard have not achieve it either.
At the very next moment after I wondering bout the diferences between goals and dreams, another question pop up in my mind, if I set an easy goal that can be achieve easily and within my current ability, what is the purpose of me setting that particular goal? Setting high goal is a way to make me work harder in order to achieve that goal, that is the message pei li trying to send out to us right? I hope is not too late for me to start up now.
